Our Process

Tryouts

All players will tryouts each Spring/Summer Season and each Fall Season.
Players will be evaluated on hitting, throwing, catching, baseball IQ, how they adapt to change and can they be a good teammate.
Tryouts are available for 6U-18U.

Team Selection

Following each tryout players will receive notification by email or phone call on the result of the tryout.
Contract offers will be sent through our Team Management system by email
Being selected to be a part of a Texas Oilers team will be done by the Coach and the Founders of the organization
Players will only be placed on a team where the organization feels it will benefit the player

Uniforms

Uniforms fittings will be the first process for the new season
The organization has partnered with Rawlings/Easton giving all Texas Oilers players exclusive discounts to all on field equipment

Tournament Schedule

All tournament scheduling is handled by the Texas Oilers Founders
The organization will play Perfect Game, FiveTool, NCS, PPS, Pathway, PBR and TripleCrown events
Teams will be placed at levels and in certain tournaments that will promote development but not placed in levels and tournaments to gain a certain status

Social Media

All players, coaches and team will have the opportunity to be highlighted through our growing social media platform
New events, camps, news, etc will always be posted through all social media channels

College Placement

The organization will use their expertise and connections to continue to promote their players to the next level
With over 90 players placed the organization will continue to provide guidance to all Texas Oilers players
